As Deputy Managing Director of Munich International Trade Fairs, the organiser of ITMA 2007, I am
very pleased to congratulate TEXtalks on their first issue. In the era of globalisation, it is of utmost
importance that the world remains connected in a technical and communicative way. I extend my best
wishes to this magazine in achieving their aim in this regard.
CEMATEX, the European Textile Machinery Manufacturers’ Association, is the owner of ITMA. This
leading international trade fair of the textile machinery industry attracts around 1,300 exhibitors and over
100,000 visitors from all over the world. In 2007, Munich International Trade Fairs will be host for ITMA,
from 13 to 20 September 2007.
ITMA 2007 will be the 15th show in a long history and will set a benchmark for future ITMA shows.
As
compact as never before with its short ways and clear segmentation, the venue is very visitor-friendly
and guarantees a good basis for networked communication during the exhibition.
Munich’s exhibition centre is one of the most modern in the world and has generous availability of space
for exhibitors and visitors. In Munich, ITMA can provide substantial exhibition space for international
companies, first class hall locations for large exhibitors, together with a state-of-the-art technical infrastructure
a particular requirement of the textile machinery industry.
I wish TEXtalks all the best for their future!
